Are Live/Work spaces for artist only?
Yes, we develop spaces for artists with their
unique use in mind.
What kind of work can I do in a Live/Work space?
Generally, any type of art with the exception of the use of an
open- flame or flammable liquids.
Do Live/Work spaces have bedrooms?
Depending on the specific design, some accommodate open space, one
bedrooms or mezzanines.
Are there any financial restrictions?
In some of the cases, you must be an artist that falls within the
category of moderate income. Presently, an artist cannot have a
gross income of more than $47,500.00 for the previous year and not
expect to make more than $47,500.00 in the present year.
How big are the Live/Work spaces?
The minimum square footage is 750 square feet, but they can be as
large as 2,900 square feet.
How much can I expect to pay for a Live/Work space?
Our rents range from $750 to $1,500 per month.
Do Live/Work spaces have lots of natural light?
Yes, depending on the design. Most spaces have skylights and
windows.

I’ve heard that lofts are really expensive, are there any
that are affordable?
Depending on what you consider "Affordable", the demand
for loft living in Long Beach has continued to be very strong and
units are now selling from $450,000 to over 1.2 million
dollars.
Do lofts come with parking?
Most newly built lofts and conversions have either semi subterranean
parking structures or enclosed garages. You will find that most
come with at least 1 parking space but some do offer 2.
How many bedrooms are included in each unit?
Most loft style condominiums have what you would consider to be a
1 bedroom with lots of wide open space.
How high are the ceilings?
Lofts usually have between 10 - 15 foot high ceilings depending on
the design.
Do lofts have Homeowner’s Association Fees?
Any lofts that are in a condominium subdivision have association
fees which cover the common area operating expenses.
Are lofts air conditioned?
You will find that some are and some are not. Again, just depends
on the design.
